Cindy McCain Speaks

Filed under: Cindy McCain, John McCain, Michelle Obama, campaign 2008, gender, race, stepford wife — Sophia Nelson @ 8:06 pm

Well it’s about time! I was starting to get very concerned about Cindy McCain and her “Stepford wife” like appearance in this campaign to date. By stepford wife (the original with Stephanie Powers is far better than the remake with Nicole Kidman) I mean simply that Mrs. McCain walks quietly behind her husband, looks flawlessly gorgeous, is blonde, youthful, perfectly coiffed and manicured and just smiles (all while rarely uttering a word publicly).

However, I am glad to see that she as the leading GOP contender’s spouse has finally engaged in the contest for “Political spouse from hell in 2008″ which Bill Clinton is winning by a 25 to 1 margin so far, with Michelle Obama in a distant second, and now Cindy in 3rd. Stay tuned for some indepth analysis on the subject of potential first ladies and their impact on this election. I have a lot to say on this topic as well as the comments Michelle Obama made yesterday relative to “being proud of her country for the first time”. This is starting to get good folks. . .stay tuned.

Let me hear from you–what do you think about Michelle Obama’s comments and Cindy McCains not too subtle swipe at her for her remarks??
